Mind Body Spirit Release (MBSR)™
What is MBSR?
MBSR is a technique used to clear negative blocks in the body, whether they be negative emotions, limiting beliefs, ideas or relationships. Removing these blocks allows the body to come back to its proper balance and begin functioning optimally again, both mentally and physically. This work is often a component of physical healing in the body.
MBSR™ is great for those seeking to:
Reduce the effects of stress and stressful triggers on the mind and body.
Release limiting emotional baggage.
Enhance spiritual growth.
Create and foster healthier relationships.
Develop healthier boundaries.
Move beyond addictions.
Become aware of and more in control of what behaviors are driving actions.
Develop a deeper sense of love and self-forgiveness.
Experience more physical and emotional balance.
Enhance Cognitive Clarity and Speed.
Why I use MBSR:
I entered complete physical healing when I incorporated MBSR to release the emotions I have kept stagnant in my body since I was a child. I grew up believing I needed to be stoic to caretake and calm those around me, and as a result, I became sick. Modern culture makes many people feel their emotions are a burden to others; this lie is detrimental to our well-being. My holistic healing began to stick once I processed the emotions I'd kept inside my body. I am confident that MBSR will be the final piece in your healing puzzle, as it was for me. Let me guide you into this next phase in healing the mind, body, and spirit.
New studies show that trauma that alters the brain is not limited to extreme traumatic events like war/sexual assault/death. The brain can register trauma with hard break-ups, parents who worked a lot, living through a global pandemic, losing a job, etcetera. Memories that create physical reactions are brought forward by smells/words/sounds and can be both positive and negative experiences.
According to neuroscientists 95% of the human brain functions in the subconscious (the place where our memories and trauma are also stored). When a negative memory is recalled a rush of hormones enters our body and can trigger feelings of overwhelm, panic, and anxiety. Physically you might encounter sweating and heart palpitations. The increase in cortisol (the stress hormone) can wreak havoc on our nervous system.
MBSR can help us heal these negative memories and the damage they do to our bodies by bringing the subconscious to the conscious. When we become aware of our subconscious unhealthy reactions, we can logically begin to approach those problems. We are energetic beings and an unbalanced nervous system can cause negative energy to stay in our bodies and block us from healing. MBSR helps clear the energy that has been stagnant in our bodies and mind.
